頭部に装着するヘッドバンドタイプメガネ開発では、固定する器具の構造や方式の課題について、堀切川教授からアドバイスを頂き、それが他の製品にも応用できるアイデアとなりました。メガネと一体化したバッテリー等が必要となるため、バッテリーが重く、バランスがとれずにメガネが落下してしまったり、耳にかかる部分の負担も大きいという点の改善。支点である鼻と耳3点線上に重心をとり、その重心を通ってレンズと対極にバランサー（重り）を配置することによってバランスを保てる構造へと進化するヒントとなったのです。このような技術の改善により新たな開発への意欲に繋がる案件となりました。株式会社ＩＴＩ開発企業情Ｐ9報:2技術相談「バランスよくバッテリーを取り付けたい」T noitatlusnoC lacigolonhce : Installation of batteries in a good balanceSomething unique and helpfulITI DevelopmentWe asked Professor Horikirigawa for advice on the structure and production method of a device designed to fix a headband onto glasses,and this led to the application of the idea to other products.Sonar glasses require that batteries be affixed to the frame, which increases weight and the risk that the glasses might fall off,and places a significant burden on the ears due to bad balance.Spreading the load over three supporting points, the nose and both ears,and placing counterbalances on the opposite side of the lenses, we developed a structure that maintains good balance.These technical improvements led to increased motivation for new product development.ひとのためになる、へんなものS G rano lasses (Tentative)Glasses眼鏡ソナーグラス（仮）［［55
