Fukushima RIT Program with the State of NRWThe Regional Industry Tie-up program, (RIT), promotes two-way industrial exchangeand collaboration between regions in Japan and other countries, with the aim offacilitating business tie-ups to develop market, exchange technology and boostthe area's economy. The program offers a perfect opportunity for foreign regionsinterested in partnering with Japan but lacking the resources or network to makesuch connections. The projectsorganized and hosted by the two agencies include conferences,workshops and project visits that promote and foster projectdevelopments and research exchanges.6
